Description
Ubiquiti’s Gen 2 Rocket Prism 5AC is a 5GHz radio that takes advantage of their airMAX AC Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) protocol as well as the improved Signal-to-Noise Ratio and co-location facilitation of their airPrism technology. Covering the full 5GHz frequency, the RP-5AC-Gen2 is capable of achieving up to 500+Mbps throughput (using a channel width of 80MHz).
The Rocket 5ac PRISM Gen2 is capable of quick and easy integration with Ubiquiti’s airMax antennas as each antenna comes equipped with a built-in Rocket mount, meaning that the devices can be integrated without needing special tools. Three devices can also be mounted onto Ubiquiti’s airPrism 5 GHz High Density 90° Sector Antenna in order to achieve coverage over three isolated 30° beamwidths.
A separate WiFi radio is integrated into the device, allowing for quick and easy setup via Ubiquiti’s UMobile App.
